Connective Texts Opt-in


Connective is a Greater Houston area disaster and preparedness nonprofit dedicated to serving our community through technology and human-centered design.  In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant need in our community, Connective launched its texting program to connect people in need with services that can provide assistance. We do so by sending 2-3 texts (message frequency varies) per week to individuals who sign up (at no cost) about local services (food banks, childcare, etc.) and assistance. If you would like to receive these texts, please fill out the information below and submit.

  • I agree to receive up to 10 text messages/month from Connective related to COVID-19, nonprofit and government resources. 

  • I confirm that I am the subscriber to the relevant phone number or that I am the customary user of that number on a family or business plan and that I am authorized to Opt In.

  • I understand that message & data rates may apply.

  • Message and I understand that I can opt-out at any time by replying “STOP” to the text messages I receive.

  • I understand that I can adjust my subscription settings by replying "HELP" to the text messages I receive.

  • I will be texted a reminder of instructions for opting out of text messages at least once a month.
